“Nice, quaint room. I appreciate the older style furniture and tub, however it is in need of modern updates as there were not enough electrical outlets. Overall, a nice stay”

“My two children and I had a great stay at Davis Mountain Inn. Elena was extremely kind and hospitable. Room was clean and it had everything we needed. My kids enjoyed the patio deck and the view was amazing. I was a little disappointed that I wasn’t able to experience the hot breakfast that all the reviews I read talked about (which was the reason I booked here) but they had a good continental breakfast with a nice selection that my kids enjoyed so overall my experience here was good.”

“Clean room, but moldy bath tub with no hot water. No response from staff or management when I asked about getting hot water in the shower.”

“We stayed in Studio 3. It was amazing. It’s so quiet you’re far enough from everything you really feel alone and I mean that in the best way possible. I can’t wait to stay here again, maybe in winter time to get the fireplace going. On the back patio the views don’t get any better. It’s eerie quiet and again I mean this in the best way possible. I want to get away from big-city life this is perfect. Also close enough to Marfa, Alpine, Valentine and of course Fort Davis. I can’t wait to go back”

“Always love staying here. This has been my regular stay each time.”

“Excellent location on the Main Street in town. Room was very spacious, clean had a nice courtyard. Nice amenities and comfortable bed & pillows. Very close to Davis Mountains State Park where we enjoyed hiking two days. Wish more of the restaurants, shops and coffeehouses were open.”

“It is a nice and quiet cabin on a secluded area with mountain view. We enjoyed the cozy napping on the porch in the afternoon, walking in the evening and star gazing at night. This is the experience we never had before The location is close to places we went, like McDonald Observatory, Davis Mountain State Park, etc. Rooms are clean and Jennifer answered my question quickly. We will definitely stay here again if we have a chance visiting the area next time.”

“Nice”

“Perfect location for hitting all the area attractions- Marfa Lights, Balmorrhea State Park, McDonald Observatory and the Davis Mountains!! The home was great for our family weekend getaway. We loved all the creative artistic touches and we especially loved the record player! Thanks for sharing your home with us!”

“Lovely spot in a wonderful location. McDonald Observatory is a must-see and Ft. Davis museum is very well done.”

“Mark responded within an hour with every email request. The house met our expectations for a stay in Fort Davis, TX. Would stay here again if ever came back to Fort Davis, TX. Bed was comfortable, bathroom clean, kitchen/dining area appropriate. Internet worked well. If anything negative/odd: tiny freezer/refrigerator, TV in bedroom, not the living area which is set up for TV viewing (but we weren't in Fort Davis for TV viewing), and 1st world issue, the toilet paper was super thin and poor……

“Beautiful view. Very clean, coffee available. host communication was excellent.”

“Beautiful mountain views”

“I rarely feel compelled to leave a review, but this home was truly wonderful. The house is very clean, well appointed, decor is tasteful, in a great location, and deserving of its high rating. We fell in love a little with this town, and a huge part of that was the comfort we had in our accommodations. We will be back for sure! ”

“This was a great getaway for our family! We enjoyed the backyard seating and benches that were perfect for stargazing! The place was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and well stocked! We will definitely be back next time we head to the Davis Mountains!”

“family had a great time in a beautiful home.”
